Some of the best surfing for the entire competition was Saturday due to a storm somewhere out in the pacific. Waves were coming in 10 to 12 foot sets. The best pro surfers in the world got to experience epic conditions in Surf City USA - Huntington Beach, CA. I have been at this event every year for 7 years and never have I ever seen the waves this big for this event. It was truly a historic occasion and I was fortunate to be able to witness it. AND I remembered to bring my camera. You'll see top surfers such as Kelly Slater (who rides a 10.0 barrel), Rob Machado, CJ Hobgood, Adriano De Sousa, Mick Fanning and of Course the hometown champion Brett Simpson!!!!
