Resolved Question: How do I convince my parents? (HELP ASAP)?

My best friend (who is a guy) invited me to go to Huntington Beach CA with him and his family this summer. As soon as I asked my mom her immediate answer was a laugh and a "NO" I'm 13, and my friend is 12. His parents would be with us the entire time, even though I've told her all this she still wont let me go. I can't figure out how to get her to let me go.
